Stafford BPOL tax proposal

Stafford’s proposed BPOL tax is nearing a decision after a Sept. 7 virtual town hall. Business executives and the Fredericksburg Area Association of Realtors oppose taxing gross receipts; the Sept. 15 public hearing is the immediate decision point for businesses, real-estate professionals, and county finances.
