World models face behavioral, physical, and probabilistic reality checks

PAWBench and PAWEval reportedly show that none of eleven systems consistently recover behavioral distributions, challenging evaluation based mainly on visual plausibility. GameWAM, Zero-WAM, Code World Model, Code-as-World, and VGI-Bench extend the debate toward executable control, embodied generalization, persistent state, and visual intelligence, but transfer beyond simulation remains uncertain.
