Parrot offers an open-source local meeting recorder for Mac

Parrot is a free, open-source Mac meeting recorder with local processing, no account requirement, transcription, and an on-screen copilot, plus optional Claude or Deepgram integrations. It is a promising privacy-oriented tool for calls and side projects, but model setup, accuracy, compatibility, and cloud-integration costs remain unverified.
