Nvidia backs UK agentic-AI safety research with major compute commitment

Nvidia has announced roughly $250 million in five-year compute support for UK agentic safety and security research, including work with the UK AI Security Institute, BOLD, SOFAIR, and Imperial College London. The commitment could materially expand evaluation and alignment capacity, but funding allocation, governance independence, cloud terms, and outcomes remain unresolved.
