Tesla Uses Regional Pricing and Feature Changes to Counter EV Competition

Tesla introduced a cut-price, specification-reduced Model 3 in New Zealand and announced Australian MY27 changes including V2L, lower Model Y Performance pricing, quicker acceleration and longer Model 3 Performance range. The moves address capability and value gaps versus BYD, Zeekr and other EV makers, but are regional and their effect on deliveries, margins and global demand is unproven.
