CAR-T and cellular therapy move toward lupus trials
Small studies continue to report striking drug-free remissions after CD19 CAR-T, while FT819, C-CAR168, CRT-402, CAR-NK, and other allogeneic or in-vivo platforms expand the field. A recent review highlights the potential scalability of in-vivo CAR-T but also major targeting, gene-safety, immunogenicity, persistence, conditioning, infection, fertility, durability, cost, access, and patient-selection questions.
