Thailand opens a regulated local market for Bitcoin ETFs

Thailand's SEC finalized rules allowing locally listed single-asset Bitcoin and Ether ETFs from October 16, 2026, with at least 80% exposure and custody and disclosure requirements. The move broadens regulated regional access, but launch products, trading volumes and actual inflows will determine whether it has meaningful market impact.
