JWST finds an extremely early, chemically enriched galaxy
JWST observations identify candidate MoM-z14 at redshift just above 14, seen roughly 280 million years after the Big Bang, with reported carbon and nitrogen. Together with more than 100 bright z>10 galaxies and little-red-dot black-hole studies, it strengthens evidence that some galaxies assembled and enriched faster than standard early-formation models predict; confirmation and interpretation remain in progress.
