AWS Enterprise AI Deals and Customer Migration Signals

Verizon signed an agreement valued at more than $2 billion with AWS to expand AI infrastructure for distributed generative and agentic workloads; revenue timing and rollout details remain undisclosed. The New York Times says it migrated a revenue-critical subscription system from Oracle to AWS Aurora PostgreSQL in about five months, using Bedrock-assisted code remediation. The latter is a vendor-published case study, and neither item yet establishes broader customer savings or realized AWS revenue.
