FAU’s loss to Army exposes issues against the run

FAU fell 56-24 to Army on October 17 in its first conference loss. Army’s rushing attack, turnovers, and missed field goals shaped the result; Veltkamp threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns, while Sipp led FAU with 41 tackles. The timing of the previously reported 25-10 Memphis loss remains unclear, so the updated season record is unconfirmed.
