Mathurin Signing Officializes Backcourt Addition

Bennedict Mathurin's two-year, $16 million contract is official, with $7.5 million guaranteed in 2026-27 and a $7.875 million player option for 2027-28. His 13-point preseason debut and strong reserve play alongside Fears and Queen strengthen his case for a scoring sixth-man or late-game role amid a crowded backcourt.
