Students from Dover and Smyrna schools demonstrated outstanding athletic performance at the recent DIAA indoor track and field meet. Notably, Dover High’s boys’ 1,600-meter relay team showcased exceptional talent, coming close to breaking the state record earlier this season. Coach Jim Solomon expressed pride in the team's efforts, highlighting the dedication and hard work of these young athletes. Additionally, Smyrna's standout athlete, Turpin, delivered a remarkable performance, further emphasizing the strength of our local youth sports programs.
Mariner Middle School Hosts Unified Basketball Tournament
Mariner Middle School played a pivotal role in promoting inclusivity and teamwork by hosting the annual Middle School Unified Basketball Tournament for the Cape district on February 6.
