Collier tourist-tax proposal for Paradise Coast Sports Complex build-out

Collier County voters will decide Nov. 3 whether to approve a tourist-tax increase tied to completing the Paradise Coast Sports Complex, including additional baseball, softball, and indoor sports facilities. If approved, implementation could begin Jan. 1, 2027; the proposal remains uncertain because of concerns over short-term-rental impacts, funding flexibility, and fiscal oversight.
