Cape Coral Yacht Club waterfront redevelopment proposals

Cape Coral is preparing to review competing unsolicited proposals for redevelopment of the Yacht Club park, including marina work, a potential hotel and convention or event uses, public amenities, infrastructure responsibilities, and long-term lease terms. Staff is leaning toward negotiations with KMB, with a Sept. 30 workshop as the next major public milestone; residents remain divided and no final agreement has been approved.
