Las Vegas presents major semifinal test

The Valkyries host defending champion Las Vegas in Game 1 on Oct. 4 after losing all three regular-season meetings. A'ja Wilson's post dominance, the Aces' perimeter creation and experience, and Golden State's need for more shooting and defensive versatility define the matchup; NaLyssa Smith's injury may affect Las Vegas' rotation.
