Ormond Beach weighs purchase of former Osceola school site
Commissioners are considering paying $2.5 million for the 11.6-acre former Osceola Elementary site to preserve it for public use. The site could otherwise become 30–40 homes, and beachside recreation space is identified as a need in the city’s parks plan. The commission’s decision is pending; park design and timing are unknown.
