Avalanche Prepare for First Central Division Test

Colorado takes its 8-4 opening win into its first Central Division game against St. Louis, which opened with a 4-0 shutout. The matchup will test whether Colorado can sustain its explosive power play and perfect penalty kill while correcting defensive coverage, puck management, faceoffs, and goaltending; no confirmed major lineup change has emerged.
