Solcoa targets U.S. rare-earth metallization capacity

Solcoa reportedly raised $75 million for a California plant targeting 500 tonnes per year of rare-earth metal production, with a planned July 2027 launch. The project addresses a major oxide-to-metal bottleneck, but technology performance, feedstock, customer qualification, financing, permitting, and the schedule remain company claims requiring verification.
