U.S. magnet recycling moves toward commercial scale

Cyclic Materials has opened an Arizona facility reportedly sized to process 25,000 tonnes of scrap annually, with more than 7,000 tonnes of feedstock delivered, and raised $75 million in Series C funding. Its South Carolina expansion and proposed U.S. Strategic Metals–Ionic Rare Earths Missouri JV add momentum, but recovery rates, throughput, contracts, output qualification, and economics remain unproven.
