Ohio infectious-disease outbreaks remain active

Ohio’s measles outbreak has climbed to 180 confirmed cases, a 327% weekly increase, with rapid growth in several counties, including 32 cases in Geauga County. Cyclospora stands at 6,342 cases, including 1,098 in Lucas County; vaccination gaps, exposure sites, school disruptions and the unresolved food-source investigation remain important.
