State-directed RHTP awards expand across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Minnesota, and Vermont

Alabama has announced more than $144 million across 138 grants, including Infirmary Health’s more than $5.3 million rural expansion award for women’s health, referral technology, telehealth, and physician workforce development. Tennessee and Georgia have announced recipients for projects spanning prevention, nutrition, trails, community supports, hospitals, workforce, technology, and care integration; Minnesota’s approximately $193.1 million first-year award includes formula grants to 10 Tribal Nations, while Vermont is directing approximately $11.7 million toward rural workforce tuition, nursing-home staffing, dialysis, ventilator capacity, and training.
