Road Commission projects and Bluff Road closure

Hammond Road paving is underway, with reopening estimated around Nov. 7, weather permitting; Beitner Bridge is expected to finish in November. The Road Commission is seeking about $47 million for four Boardman River crossings, with federal award decisions expected the week of Dec. 7 and no guarantee of success. Bluff Road remains closed as stabilization design is scoped at just under $40,000, and easements may be needed before repairs.
