Sheppard and McConnell Injuries Thin Pacers' Bench

Sheppard has a torn left meniscus and no firm return timeline; one report suggests he could miss two weeks or longer. McConnell has missed Indiana’s first two games with a right hamstring strain, while Nesmith returned against Dallas. Haliburton, Nembhard, and Jackson are available as possible point-guard options as the team manages its depth.
