Virginia faces urgent Syracuse response after Florida State collapse

Virginia hosts Syracuse on Oct. 10 in a primetime ACC game that will test whether it can correct the tackling, communication, pass-rush and offensive-line problems exposed at Florida State. Syracuse is coming off a 42-41 overtime win and is expected to start Amari Odom after his explosive, five-to-six-touchdown debut, with Umari Hatcher also presenting a major coverage challenge.
