Proposed Golden Gate Fields waterfront park

California lawmakers have proposed $125 million for a future waterfront park at Golden Gate Fields, potentially expanding East Bay shoreline access and linking Albany Beach with McLaughlin Eastshore State Park. The allocation is not yet approved, and acquisition, design, interim access, and opening timing remain unsettled.
