Major Drug Busts, Wanted Persons and Crime Trends in NIR

BCPO reports more than P8 million in suspected shabu seized and 20 suspects arrested over a two-week period, adding to major Bacolod operations including the approximately 1-kilogram Barangay 31 seizure on September 19. A grenade found at a Negros Occidental hacienda was secured for Explosives and Ordnance Division handling. A separate report says NIR crimes declined 32% in September, but available figures lack methodology and category details; all police allegations, valuations, and charges remain subject to due process.
