WSU faces explosive Oregon State offense with new starting quarterback

Washington State visits Oregon State on October 17 with Owen Eshelman making his first college start. The Beavers' Braden Atkinson-to-Jesse Legree connection is a major threat: Legree has six straight 100-yard games, 932 yards and 12 touchdowns, while edge rusher Takari Hickle will challenge WSU's protection. Oregon State's roster construction also underscores longer-term recruiting and NIL challenges facing WSU.
