Fresno State opener will test WSU’s depth and defensive discipline

Washington State’s Pac-12 opener against Fresno State will test whether the Cougars can translate the Duquesne offensive performance against stronger competition. Fresno brings an inexperienced quarterback, explosive receivers, lockdown corner Simeon Harris, pass rush and breakout running back Rayshon Luke, while WSU must contain Josiah Freeman and may lean on Branden Ganashamoorthy and Jack Pedersen.
