Fire destroys Presque Isle building; families displaced

A fire destroyed the three-story building at 172 Main St., which housed a business and apartments, displacing multiple families. No injuries were reported; the Red Cross will help, and mutual-aid crews used an excavator to expose the attic. The state fire marshal is investigating, with the cause and full damage assessment still unknown.
