Brush fire contained in Connor Township

A roughly quarter-acre brush fire at a gravel pit east of Adams Road was contained by Caribou Fire and Ambulance crews before reaching the forest. Smoke and smoldering material may remain for days, and the cause is under investigation; no publication date was provided.
