Survey Evidence on British Christian-Nationalist Identity

Survey Evidence on British Christian-Nationalist Identity

Theos-related research finds that British Christian-nationalist identifiers are often infrequent churchgoers and are associated with racism, anti-immigration and anti-Islamic attitudes, Great Replacement beliefs and Reform UK support. Its approximately 11% identity-integrationist category and broader five-group typology distinguish political identity from active religious observance and provide important evidence for analysing secularisation, mobilisation and comparisons with US and European Christian nationalism.
