Macdonald continues to support Darnold as Seattle’s starter, with Drew Lock planned as backup; no change has been announced. Darnold’s $35.5 million 2027 salary is nonguaranteed, with a reported $10 million roster bonus due March 16. Talk of a possible move remains commentary and speculation.
