Coastal prepares for Appalachian State after first Sun Belt win

Coastal hosts Appalachian State on Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Preview coverage emphasizes App State's interception-heavy pass defense, Coastal's run-defense vulnerability and the quarterback matchup involving Deuce Bailey and potentially questionable App State quarterback Malachi Singleton. Coastal's modest six-game rushing production and the 1990s-themed uniform debut remain secondary storylines.
