Illinois replaces Purdue on Notre Dame’s 2027–28 schedule

Notre Dame announced a home-and-home with Illinois, hosting Sept. 4, 2027, and visiting Champaign Sept. 2, 2028; kickoff times and networks are pending. The agreement replaces Purdue on Notre Dame’s schedule, and Purdue says its 2027 game is off while leaving future meetings open for reevaluation.
