GaN microinverters and smarter EV charging expansion

Enphase is rolling out next-generation IQ9 solar microinverters built on Infineon’s gallium nitride (GaN) technology, aiming for higher efficiency, smaller form factors, and better performance in demanding environments. At the same time, it’s pushing microinverter-based small commercial solar solutions designed to cut installer costs and simplify grid interconnection. Enphase has also begun U.S. shipments of its IQ EV Charger 2, tightening the integration between rooftop solar, storage, and electric vehicle charging. Together, these launches signal a strategic push to accelerate growth across both residential and small commercial energy markets.
