Steelers Evaluate Free Agents for Defensive and Line Depth

Pittsburgh has worked out nine players after the Browns loss, notably linebackers Chad Muma and Marte Mapu, Cam Sample and several offensive linemen. The evaluations address linebacker, edge, defensive-back and offensive-line shortages, but no signing has been reported. Possible cornerback, Highsmith and Ramsey trade or release scenarios remain speculative.
