Street Fighter has opened after strongly positive premiere reactions, but early Rotten Tomatoes coverage reports a low 34%–42% critics score, with complaints including an abrupt ending and weak dialogue. Some critics embrace its deliberately cheesy style; audience scores and box-office results are still pending, with opening estimates around $25M–$30M.
