Neon sets unusually wide U.S. release for Korean monster film Hope
Hope is set to open Sept. 9 in approximately 1,500 U.S. theaters, reportedly the widest Korean-language launch since Parasite, with premium-format screenings and strong presales. Critics continue to describe the Cannes-premiered film as divisive but action-heavy and formally ambitious; its three-hour length and word of mouth will determine its legs.
