UNLV answers Hawai‘i challenge with 21-6 road win

UNLV defeated Hawai‘i 21-6 on September 5 for its fourth straight Island Showdown victory. Jai’den Thomas rushed for 143 yards, Jackson Arnold added two rushing touchdowns and 89 rushing yards, and the Rebels produced 248 rushing yards while holding Hawai‘i without an offensive touchdown. The win remains encouraging, but North Texas will show whether the defensive and rushing corrections are sustainable.
