Cal quarterback injury and targeting incidents shape 39-31 UNLV win

California quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele suffered a head injury and was removed despite reportedly receiving medical clearance; Tosh Lupoi said he chose not to risk Sagapolutele's health. Kingston Lopa also sustained an injury, and targeting ejections changed the game's complexion. Player availability and the handling of the head injury remain under observation.
