Candle rebuild reaches 3-3 after Temple response

Jason Candle's first UConn team used the bye week to assess a 3-3 start and prepare for a difficult closing stretch that includes improved UMass, North Carolina and unbeaten James Madison. The Temple win showed improved rushing balance and efficient quarterback play, but pass protection, defensive communication, physicality, big-play prevention, penalties and discipline remain central rebuild issues.
