DJ Herz Set to Return for Rotation Audition

Washington plans to activate DJ Herz from the 60-day injured list on Sept. 21 after Tommy John surgery and a flexor strain. A controlled workload is expected, but his return adds another meaningful arm to the 2027 rotation evaluation alongside Alvarez, Irvin, Gray and Connelly Early.
