Three separate incidents in recent days: a 44-year-old man shot after pulling a gun on a security guard near I-17; a man shot and killed by a security guard at a business in north Phoenix; and an armed suspect killed by a QuikTrip security guard. All guards released under self-defense laws. Pattern of violent encounters.
