Run-first offense faces ball-security and quarterback questions

After rushing for 869 yards over two games following Szarka’s injury, Air Force lost 28–14 at Wyoming with three fumbles lost, eight penalties and only 83 passing yards. Medders will miss multiple weeks, leaving a third different starter to lead the offense against UConn, which is 4–3 and features Cyncir Bowers (564 rushing yards, seven touchdowns).
