Happy Hens eggs linked to California Salmonella outbreak

California reports 23 illnesses and seven hospitalizations linked to recalled Happy Hens organic shell eggs distributed in Southern California and the Central Coast. Matching Salmonella Enteritidis was detected in environmental samples from two hen houses; the recall and investigation remain active.
