Project Jupiter Controversy

The New Mexico Supreme Court continues to block Project Jupiter’s air-permit proceedings and proposed water diversion, most recently preventing the planned Sept. 14 hearing. Attorney General Raul Torrez is backing challenges alleging improper emergency well authorization and inadequate permitting due process, while construction reportedly continues. Oracle’s stated grid-power fallback if the air permit fails adds a new dimension, but company claims remain subject to independent scrutiny.
