USC rallies past Washington 25-21 with defensive response

USC improved to 5-1 on October 3 by overcoming an 11-point deficit and shutting out Washington in the second half. Jahkeem Stewart scored on a fumble return in his debut, Ta'Mere Robinson started for suspended Desman Stephens II and late defensive execution secured the win. Nine penalties and uneven offense mean the result is encouraging but not definitive.
