Fatal police shooting in Wellston under investigation

Reports say a man was fatally shot by police during a mental-health-warrant call after barricading himself in an excavator; accounts also describe negotiations and unsuccessful less-lethal efforts. A county force team is investigating, but the reports lack publication dates and key details; Wellston is outside 63115 and its immediate neighborhoods.
