Kristaps Porziņģis Steps Away From Basketball

Porziņģis says he is stepping away because his body has not responded as hoped; this is not an official retirement, and he plans to work with Golden State on a solution. Draymond Green says the team has moved on for now, with Charles Bassey and Graham Ike potential beneficiaries. No return plan, official contract resolution or trade is confirmed; reports of a quick move remain unverified.
