Report Says BioWare Is Closing and Its Next Mass Effect Is Canceled

A report says EA is shutting down BioWare and canceled its next Mass Effect game, but provides few details about the project or affected staff. Separate coverage citing Bloomberg and IGN says a leaked trailer is genuine and shows pre-production footage; its apparent story and gameplay clues do not establish the project’s progress or reverse the reported cancellation. Further reliable confirmation and follow-up remain important.
